Conflict of Interest
Because the medical transport profession is unique and limited in number, the Commission is very sensitive to conflict of interest issues. Each site surveyor and board member is required to complete a form with questions regarding conflict of interest issues before becoming involved in a specific site survey. There is an Ad Hoc Ethics Committee which can meet in the event of an unresolved conflict of interest.
The program is also asked to sign a conflict of interest form to verify there is no conflict with the anticipated site surveyors.
